Implant Malposition Pictures

Breast Implant Malposition Surgery – Among the post-surgical problems that may be experienced after breast implant surgery is “implant malposition” , which refers to abnormal positioning of the breast implant.  Sometimes, implants can be too high (frequently seen in conjunction with capsular contracture), but they can also be too low (sometimes referred to as “bottoming out”), or too far off to one side or even too close to the mid-line (known as “synmastia”).  Corrective surgery to treat implant malposition is one of Dr. Neal Handel of Santa Barbara’s areas of special interest, as he has extensive experience in this field.
